In an effort to have an academic growth and create a circuit or network of thematic studies on regional art at the Fine Arts Institute Potosino signed on Thursday May 20 a letter of intent for collaboration education with the Autonomous University of Zacatecas "Francisco García Salinas "through CAECUAZ172 theory, history and interpretation of Art.
The main objective of this collaboration is the exchange of researchers and practitioners in the study of the various artistic and consolidate the work plans and offer IPBA UAZ plant teachers who have shaped and can exchange enrich academic experiences and knowledge through conducting courses, workshops and seminars on selected topics in the field of scientific study of art in all its manifestations, strongly promoting the effective advancement of the academic bodies with consequent advances in the local environment and its outreach to regional and national level.
As a first result of this agreement will conduct a course in Art History under the title "Mexican Visual Expressions," with the following contents and dates: Thursday, 19

12:00 to 14:00: Methods of Analysis for the painting of New Spain with Dr. Maricela Valverde R 16:00-18: 00: The House of New Spain: Architecture and Daily Life by Dr. Lorena Salas Acevedo.
Friday 20.
10:00-12:00: The mystery of the immaculate paint decryption of Mexquitic. Iconographic reading of a New English Table by Dr. Armando Hernandez Souberville
12:00 to 14:00: Porfirian City: Urbanism and Architecture by Dr. Lidia Medina Lozano
This event will be held at the facilities of San Luis Potosi of Fine Arts, and is aimed at teachers and students of different artistic disciplines and the general public. Admission is free.
